The benefit of doing this is obvious … It enhances client credibility in the eyes of prospective new customers, and encourages new customers to contact my clients. How Do I Work With Clients?

In short … in a very flexible way! I spend whatever time the client requires each month to promote their businesses in the most effective way. this could be 1 or 2 days per month … sometimes more depending on the campaigns they want to put into place and their timescale. It won’t take you long to work out that I don’t have time to work with very many clients, so I only work with those who are committed to applying the campaigns that we jointly produce.

Depending on how much time the client has to work on their marketing plans themselves (and how much they know about Marketing!) the spectrum of advice I can give ranges from reviewing and amending my clients’ own campaigns and Marketing pieces, to creating complete campaigns, writing copy for website pages, creating Direct Mail Letters, E-mail Campaigns, Newsletters, Press Releases etc.

It’s important to remember that my consulting fees are lower than many other external consultants, and also that I can offer you advice on accessing sources of funding to pay for my consulting time. See my ‘Grant Funding’ page on this website …

What Results Can You Expect?

The well known ‘Dragon’s Den’ entrepreneur, James Caan, was the keynote speaker at a Marketing conference I attended recently, and he offered £5 back to anyone in the audience who gave him £1 … it didn’t take long to convince the audience that if you get back more than your ‘Investment’ (Note … not ‘Cost’) then your Marketing Budget should be unlimited! … So that’s what I do …

The headings indicate that there are really only 3 ways to increase your turnover:-

In this Company, on the top line, you will see that they have 1,000 current customers, each spending an average of £100 twice a year … this equates to a turnover of £200,000 … not too bad, but look at the ‘Multiplier Effect’ of increasing each of the three Revenue ‘funnels’ by only only 15% (middle line) … The turnover increases by 52% to £304,175 !!

Now … Look at the bottom line … imagine if this company instigated an effective ‘Lead Generation’ and ‘Sales Conversion Programme’ (Post Cards / e-mail / Free Reports / Direct Mail Campaign / Testimonials / Guarantees etc) which produced a third more customers, and then put in place a programme for ‘Customer Maximisation’ (Referral Bonus for existing Customers / ‘Upselling &‘Cross Selling’ Services or products etc) which increased the average spend per sale by 25%, and increased the number of times each customer bought from this Company by 50%, then this Company’s turnover could easily go to over Half a Million pounds!!!
